About Me

As a relational therapist, I promote growth through interpersonal work with clients. My objective is to provide an attentive and empathetic environment where the client and I can work together to understand their unique self-experience. This includes exploring any past and present relationship struggles and how they impact the client's current life. I work experientially which means that change happens in the moment by open expression of emotion, conflict, trust, and understanding, and with practice this leads to healthier relationships with self and others. What occurs within our therapeutic relationship can serve as a model for future secure, meaningful relationships.

After finishing my undergraduate degree in Psychology, I obtained my Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the George Washington University. My career began at the Kolmac Clinic, a drug and alcohol rehabilitation program. As Lead Clinician of Kolmac’s Intensive Outpatient Program and facilitator of their family and friends group, I found my passion for helping addicted clients and their family embrace recovery.  In the pursuit of more individualized work and deeper exploration, I started in private practice. License numbers: PRC14322 and CACI1021.
